When we’re single, it’s very tempting to go shopping in our pajamas, stop for coffee in our sweatpants, and visit our friends wearing our ratty T-shirts. When searching for a man, one of the things to remember is that men are everywhere. So, it’s possible that while we’re running around looking like slobs, our future boyfriends aren’t giving us a second glance because they’re too busy checking out the put-together gals who are wearing heels and makeup. Always be prepared to meet a new boyfriend.
No one is suggesting that in order to find love, we have to look like supermodels. Most men want women who simply look like they’ve put some effort into how they look.
It doesn’t matter how much you weigh, or what your skin looks like. What matters is looking like you’ve recently had a bath.
Think about it: men are everywhere. Women looking for boyfriends should definitely consider this before stepping out of the house. Pretend like you’re always going to meet someone. This doesn’t mean always wearing four-inch stilettos or tons of makeup. Just comb your hair, make sure your jeans are clean, file your nails and maybe put on a touch of lipstick before you head out to the supermarket.
What if you happen to run into someone you know? Or someone you think is cute?
When you look good, you feel good: this is a fact. So always try to look your best when you’re out in public.
If you’re not out in public, and you’re looking for a man—what on earth are you doing at home? The love of your life is not hiding under your bed. Go take a shower, put on those shoes you love, your favorite skirt and get out of the house. You never know who you might meet.
